Who is shiva:-

Shankar or Mahadev is one of the most important deities in the Aranya culture which later came to be known as Sanatan Shiva Dharma. He is one of the trinity gods. He is also called the God of gods, Mahadev. They are also known by names like Bholenath, Shankar, Mahesh, Rudra, Neelkanth, Gangadhar etc. He is also known as Bhairav in Tantra Sadhana.[1] Hindu Shiva is one of the main deities of Gharma Shiva-dharma.

His name is Rudra in the Vedas. It is the innermost of the consciousness of the individual. The name of his Ardhangini (Shakti) is Parvati. His sons are Kartikeya, Ayyapa and Ganesha, and daughters are Ashok Sundari, Jyoti and Manasa Devi. Shiva is seen as a yogi in most of the paintings and is worshiped both in the form of Shivalinga and idol.

The serpent god is seated around Shiva's neck and in his hands he holds a damaru and a trident. He resides in Kailash. This is the basis of Shaivism. In this belief, Shakti is worshiped in all forms along with Shiva.

Shankar ji is called the god of destruction. Shankar ji is known for both gentle form and rough form. It is believed to be from other gods. Shiva is the ruler of the creation, condition and destruction of the universe.

Lord Shiva is considered to be the god of destruction among the trinity. Shiva is the beginning and origin of the process of creation and this period of Mahakal is the basis of astrology. Although the meaning of Shiva is considered to be benevolent, but he has always subordinated both Laya and Pralay.

Ravan, Shani, Kashyap Rishi etc. have become his devotees. Shiva sees everyone with equal vision, that's why he is called Mahadev. Some of the popular names of Shiva are Mahakal, Adidev, Kirat, Shankar, Chandrashekhar, Jatadhari, Nagnath, Mrityunjaya [victory over death], Tryambaka, Mahesh, Vishvesha, Maharudra, Vishdhar, Neelkanth, Mahashiv, Umapati [Parvati's husband], Kaal Bhairav , Bhootnath, Ivanyan [the third Nayan one], Shashibhushan etc.

Lord Shiva is known by the name Rudra. Rudra means remover of root, that is, remover of sorrows, hence the form of Lord Shiva is a welfare factor. In the fifth chapter of Rudrashtadhyai, many forms of Lord Shiva have been described, considering Rudra as immovable, movable, all-material, all-caste, human, animal, and vegetation, and has been proved to be the innermost spirit and the best spirit, knowing from this sense the seeker becomes non-dual.

According to the statement of Lord Rama in Ramayana, one who knows the difference between Shiva and Rama can never be dear to Lord Shiva or Lord Rama. According to Rudra Ashtadhyai under Shukla Yajurveda Samhita, Surya Indra Virat Purush is the form of Lord Shiva for all the green trees, food, water, air and welfare of human beings. Taxes give them the same result, the meaning is that the whole creation is Shiva, humans get the fruits according to their own actions, that is, to those with healthy intellect, Lord Shiva provides rain, water, etc.

Just as this universe has no end, no end and no beginning, similarly Shiva is eternal, the whole universe is contained within Shiva, when there was nothing, there was still Shiva, when nothing will happen, then there will be Shiva. Shiva is called Mahakal, that is, time. Shiva sustains the entire creation through this form.

Through this form, God has collected all the planets by the power of his energy and heat. This form of God is considered very beneficial because the basis of the whole creation rests on this form. Lord Shankar has been described as Tamogun in the holy Shri Devi Bhagwat Mahapuran, the evidence of this is in Shri Devi Bhagwat Mahapuran Chapter 5, Skanda 3, page 121. has given.

In the past history on earth, from Satyug to Kaliyug, there is only one human body which has light on its forehead. By living life in this form, God has imparted the knowledge of Vedas to human beings, which has proved to be very beneficial for human beings. Veda Shivam Shivam Vedam. Through this form of God Shiva, the human body gets the knowledge of becoming Shiva from Rudra.

The harmony of conflicting expressions is seen in Shiva. On one side of Shiva's head is the moon, and on the other hand, the Mahaveshadhar snake is also a garland around his neck. He is Kamajit in spite of being Ardhanarishvara. In spite of being a householder, the crematoriums are brave.

Despite being gentle, Ashutosh is a fierce Rudra. The Shiv family is also no exception to this. In his family, equanimity of ghosts, nandi, lion, snake, peacock and mouse is seen. He himself embodies the great idea of coexistence devoid of dualities. Shivratri is the great festival of worship of such Mahakal Shiva.
