Lord Ganesha is the youngest son of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati. Lord Ganesha's wife's name is Riddhi and Siddhi. Riddhi and Siddhi are the daughters of Lord Vishwakarma.

According to astrology, Ganesha is known as Ketu. Ketu is a shadow planet, which is always in opposition to the shadow planet Rahu, without opposition there is no knowledge and without knowledge there is no liberation.

The main purpose of those who believe in Ganesha is to see him everywhere, if Ganesha is a means, then he is present in every particle of the world. For example, Ganesha is the means, food is needed to run life, grain is the means to run life, so grain is Ganesha. A farmer is needed to produce grain, so the farmer is Ganesha. If the farmer needs oxen to sow and extract the grain, then the bull is also Ganesha. A field is needed to sow grain, so the field is Ganesha.

If there is a need for a storage place to keep grains, then the place of storage is also Ganesha. After the grain comes to the house, it needs a mill to grind it, so the mill is also Ganesha. Tawa, tongs and roti maker are needed to make roti by taking it out of the mill, so it is all Ganesha.

Hands are needed to eat, so the hand is also Ganesha. Teeth are needed to eat in the mouth, so the tooth is also Ganesha. To say that whatever means are used in life, they are all Ganesha, not only the son and deity of Shankar Parvati alone.

Body structure of  Lord Ganesha:-

Ganapati is Adidev who took different incarnation in every era. Their physical structure also has a specific and deep meaning. Shri Ganesh is called Pranav (Om) in Shivamanas Puja. In this monolithic Brahma, the upper part is the head of Ganesha, the lower part is the abdomen, the Chandrabindu laddus and the trunk is the quantity.

He has four arms symbolizing omnipresence in all the four directions. He is a lambodar because the whole gratuitous creation moves in his abdomen. Big ears are a sign of more receptive power and small sharp eyes are indicative of subtle-sharp vision. His long nose (proboscis) is a symbol of great intelligence.

Story of  Lord Ganesha:-

In ancient times there was a very picturesque hermitage of sage Saubhari on Sumeru mountain. The name of his extremely beautiful and virtuous wife was Manomayi. One day the sage went to the forest to get wood and Manomayi got engaged in homework. At the same time a wicked Gandharva named Kauncha came there and when he saw the unique Lavanyavati Manomayi, he became distraught.

Kaunch grabbed the sage-wife's hand. Weeping and trembling, the sage wife started begging him for mercy. At that very moment the sage Saubhari came. He cursed the Gandharva and said, 'You have caught the hand of my companion like a thief, because of this you will be a mouse and steal your stomach under the earth.

A trembling Gandharva prayed to the sage - 'Merciful sage, I touched your wife's hand because of my indiscretion. I'm sorry The sage said that my curse will not be in vain, however Ganpati Dev will appear in the form of Gajmukh's son (Ganeshaji took different incarnations in every era) in Dwapar, then you will become his vehicle called Dink, from which the gods will also respect you. Will start doing The whole world will then worship you as Shri Dinkji.

While not giving birth to Ganesha, Mother Parvati created his body. His face was normal at that time. After the creation of Ganesha in Mata Parvati's bath, the mother ordered him to guard the house. Mother said that as long as she is taking a bath, Ganesha should not allow anyone to enter the house. Then Lord Shankar came to the door and said, "Son, this is my house, let me enter." On being stopped by Ganesha, the Lord severed Ganesha's head. Seeing Ganesha lying lifeless in the ground, Mother Parvati became distraught. Then Shiva realized his error and put a gaj's head on the torso of Ganesha. He got the boon of being the first worshipper, that's why Ganesha is worshiped first.
